Matters Arising
DC will investigate the clubs membership of Reigate Societies Group.
JJ will cancel the toilet booking for the Old Codgers trial.
Secretary’s Report
Following no other nominations being received, Carol Dark was welcomed by the committee as Secretary. RC will collect any relevant items from Jan Smewing, the previous Secretary, and will pass them to CD.
Treasurer’s Report
There is £12,637.21 in the Tracker account and £696.41 on current account with some payments still outstanding from the camping weekend. Camping weekend almost broke even with only a small loss of £52 incurred.
£296.34 profit was made from the South Coast Trial.
Editor’s Report
Debbie is awaiting the template for the e-newsletter from Jarrett & Lam. They will for the time being use the old Club logo and this service will cost £25pm. If received in time this will be used for the next edition. No details have yet been received of anyone requiring a paper copy to be sent.
All present who attended the camping weekend agreed to write short articles for the newsletter.

Eric Clarke wished to thank everyone for their help with the South Coast Trial. There were 66 riders and good reports were received with the exception of only one section where it was thought that the blue/red route was a bit hard. Eric will produce an article for the newsletter.
Future dates and venues discussed:
Next training trial changed from 27th to 26th September.
DD reminded that we need to use entry forms with higher price for non members at Hookwoods and agreed to produce a version for this purpose.
RC to phone re use of Ockley for October club trial.
Star Group trial on 13th Dec needs to be put in Sporting Motorcyclist and needs a Secretary of Meeting and people to set out. Request to be put in newsletter.
December club trial to remain at the Old Quarry.
Camping Weekend-28-31
August 2009
60 adults, 25 children and 8 extras enjoyed another successful camping weekend with the addition of sumo wrestling and badminton as well as the usual entertainment. Mondays fun trial consisting of 6 sections in the woods followed by an arena style trial was well received by both riders and spectators, with many people expressing their thanks for something different to the ‘serious’ trials they ride all year. The committee gave their thanks to CD (and son Scott) for organising & running this.
DD is to amend the booking form for next year to exclude reference to tickets being issued and to add some camping rules!
Any Other Business
RC has been invited to book Hungry Hill for Old Codgers 2010 and will try for 26 Sept. Having 3 laps of 15 sections, taking less time and requiring less observers was suggested.
Brian Edwards has kindly offered to do club trial results although we may sometimes need to get the cards to him.
Helen Smith has kindly offered to do training trial results.
Discussed putting article in newsletter outlining details of what is involved in volunteering to do results etc.
A member complained that there is no longer a discount given to RRND for practising at the Old Quarry so prices to be removed from website. Also if prices for club trial use are to go up we may need to charge more for non members at this venue.
JJ is to ensure that only one copy of Sporting motorcyclist is received by club.
New punches are to be purchased for use at trials.
