MINUTES OF COMMITTEE MEETING HELD ON 1^st July 2009

Minutes of Last Meeting

Approved.

Matters Arising

Reminder circulated for another run out with members of the Burgess Hill Motorcycle Club this time at the Little Brown Jug PH, Chiddingstone Causeway, on Sunday 26^th July. This is a training trial day and RC is seeking clek of course as he is away. Will approach Mark Stubberfield in first instance.

Secretary’s Report

Nothing to report in JS absence.

Treasurer’s Report

A small charge was levied at the evening trial for refreshments provided which meant costs were met.

Editor’s Report

It was agreed that Debbie would explore the costing of a newsletter format, and the likelihood of moving to e mail circulation.  May have to move from an entire colour format to reduce costs and make this viable.

Membership Secretary’s Report

Not present.

Competition Secretary’s Report

Our last Club trial was held at Faygate and was laid out by PJ (White), Sam Brightman (Blue), Mark Stubberfield (red and yellow) .  Blues and whites were challenging  and a decision was made to ease the sections for the next evening trial. JJ offered to run the bbq.

Camping Weekend

On course- arrangements on going for Mondays entertainment.

Any Other Business

EC was to compete at the 4 day trial at La Cruese, Sardent, Lomoges. Discussion about event. EC will do write up.

Dave Charman will follow up to see if there is any advantage in the club rejoining the Reigate group of  clubs- it appears we have been dropped from the circulations.
