Chairmans Chatter

Not much for me to report this month as I'm currently out of action and had to miss this months Group and Club trial. Some of you who saw me at the Club trial will know I'm currently legless and on crutches. I've had a problem for a while and need to stop wearing the leg for a couple of weeks to fix it but hopefully will be back in the saddle soon. A few more members have rejoined and membership is now 127. Last month for some reason the Club trial entry dropped to 27 which was surprising as Blacklands is normally very popular, this month at Dons it was back up to 43 so the higher numbers we saw last year look like continuing. Unfortunately we only had 8 riders at the April Star group trial so although we have maintained second we have dropped considerably, we need at least 10 riders out each month but preferably 12/15.

Club Clothing - Order Placed

The order has been placed and hopefully they will be available at the next Club trial. Just to remind everyone anyone who has ridden 4 or more Club trials since January 2004 will be entitled to a free T-Shirt. Also as an incentive to encourage more members to ride Star Group Trials anyone who rides three or more in 2005 will be entitled to a free Sweatshirt or Long sleeve T-Shirt. If you qualify for one of these please let me know what size you would like. Anyone who does not qualify will be able to purchase them.

Montesa 315, 2000, £1200

Kawasaki 125 Trail Bike (field bike), I acquired this bike a few years ago but have never done anything with it and now need the space. Engine runs but it needs some TLC to make it safe to ride. Ideal as field bike or for spares. Call if interested.
