We have reluctantly decided to increase trial fees as from 1 January 2003 to £10.00 per adult and £7.00 per child. On average, the cost to the club for land is £5.00 per person and the cost for AMCA insurance is £4.00 per person for each trial. You don't need a degree in maths to see that the current fee of £7.00 is not enough to cover these costs. The new fees will bring us in line with the charges levied by most other clubs.
This is the first increase for some time and shows that in the past the club has sometimes subsidised events. We hope we can rely on your support as this was a difficult decision to make. We still feel that £10.00 for a day's entertainment is good value - where else can you get wet and dirty so cheaply? (Answers on a postcard to Rick Parrish please as he would really like to know!)."
