BUT Where Have All the Riders Gone

At 136 the Club Membership is the highest I can remember in over 20 years but Club trials are only averaging 25. So far this year 50 members have ridden in a Club trial which means over half our members are not competing at all. WHY? Also very few are riding in Star Group events or Open to Centre but 36 take the SE Gazette. It is good that the membership is high but sad that so few are joining in the Clubs activities. If you are a new member then please don't be shy or afraid you will make a fool of yourself, even the best riders fall off. The red route at Club trials is designed for new riders and those riding older bikes. In an attempt to entice members to enter an event we will be running a Novice and Beginners trial at Don Barretts on Saturday 9th Nov. There will be two routes, one similar to the normal red route but another easier route ideal for those who are very new to the sport or younger members on small bikes. Full details should appear else where in this newsletter.

Club Night 13th November

Dog & Duck Pub, Outwood - 8.30 onwards



As the Monthly Club night has ceased due to lack of interest in an attempt to get members out we have decided to select a different Pub each Month in and around the borough of Reigate. The first one in November will be at the Dog & Duck in Outwood. If anyone has any suggestions for the future please pass the details to a committee member.
