'Objection to TRO on Byways 538 and 539'

Date: Wednesday, 4 August, 2010, 22:05

Hi- I am contacting you now to you to appeal to you to write a letter of objection to Surrey County Council, objecting to two proposed Traffic Regulation Orders. The council has now issued its official notification and the TROs will be made in December unless we object and are successful in getting them stopped. Surrey County Council Countryside Access team have stated that the Byways do not meet the Surrey CC TRO Policy, and recommend that they should be repaired, vegetation is cut back and speed advisory signs are erected instead of a TRO. However, they were overruled by the local council, who are determined to TRO the Byways.

Please link to this website: http://www.thamesmcc.org/TRO.html where you can see some information on this issue, and the info on who to write to, when ( NOW) what to include, etc---

On this linked page you can see the official papers and model letters with suggestions for objections, and all the info you will need- .

You do not need to write a fantastic novel or piece of literature. As a minimum, just a few lines saying you object and some good reasons why. Deadline is 27th August 2010. Head your letter 'Objection to TRO on Byways 538 and 539'.

please if you can let me know if you have sent in an objection, so as I can keep a tally of the numbers--

Thank you

Brian Cohen
