Copy dates for Publication

Further to Dick Coles chatter on page four regarding the newsletter being produced bimonthly, I can confirm publication dates for the forthcoming year will be as follows. It is hoped that by combining two months news we will have more content to fill the newsletter as well as a bit more time between publications to put it together. In the past we have had just three weeks to compile copy, produce artwork and then one week to print and post, which can be quite tough when there is a lack of content and time is limited, hopefully this will improve the situation. As Dick mentioned, the quality of our newsletter is somewhat envious by other Clubs and I hope that we are able to continue this throughout 2009, but I’m afraid it can only be achieved with help from our members. Next weekend we have a Club trial and last weekend a South Coast event and it would be really good to get some comment from our members on these events, even if only a few words, good or bad! Many of our members also have other motorcycling interests including road, vintage, enduro, motocross and even two-wheeled pedal power that I’m sure will be of interest to other members, so why not share this, why not write your own regular column? I’m sure many of you enjoyed Antony’s look back over the last thirty years, (thanks Antony).

Publication will be the first week of the first month, final copy deadline by Saturday one week prior to publication.
